Trifecta Challenge ~ Pendantic

This week’s challenge (33-333 words) is using the word: Pendantic and it’s 3rd definition…

PEDANTIC (adjective)

1 : of, relating to, or being a pedant(see pedant)

2 : narrowly, stodgily, and often ostentatiously learned

3 : unimaginative, pedestrian

Okay, so my imagination is at an all time low today. No sleep from tornado nightmares all night, so I’m going to start with a simple little Acrostic and see what that does. It’s a completely pendantic style to write for me, very elementary school. It doesn’t require much imagination to find words that begin with the letters P-E-D-A-N-T-I-C after all. A simple style learned by rote in..hmm, first grade, I believe. Well, here goes it.

P – Personality
E – Educated
D – Dedicated
A – Altruistic
N – Naive
T – Terse
I – Intelligensia
C – Cursed

Now, where can we go with this…

He had all the personality of an educated man. He was dedicated to an altruistic lifestyle that seemed very naive for the terse environment of the League of Intelligensia that he now found himself cursed to be a part of.
